IT Service Manager - Permanent

OVERVIEW

At PlayStation London Studio, we are on a mission to make award-winning, landmark games. We are currently working on an unannounced PlayStation 5 multiplayer game, set in modern fantasy London. This game is close to our hearts, as we’ve seen this idea grow from a seed with the whole team coming up with the concept from the very beginning. We’re growing the studio to continue our journey and help the team to shape our plans for this hugely exciting project.

As a part of PlayStation Studios and the wider Sony Interactive Entertainment family, we have a have a network of teams to work with and knowledge share.

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Service Manager to join our studio team. You will partner with our Studio Heads, Studio Leadership and the Operations and Recruitment teams to build, live and promote an excellent work environment. You will be responsible for driving London Studio's IT agenda while partnering and reporting into the wider PlayStation IT group – this role acts as a liaison the two teams while being fully accountable for the IT work at the studio.

You will have access to the latest technology, and work in a development environment where all hardware is pushed to the very limit. This is an exciting role where you are supporting the London Studio team while they work on future games for Sony PlayStation. We need someone who loves technology, enjoys problem solving and most importantly has a real passion for helping people. If that’s you and you want to work in a uniquely ambitious industry, then apply now.

For this role, you are expected to be in our Central London office, at least 4 times a week.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We encourage you to bring your best-unaltered self to work. Inclusivity is one of our studio values, which means we embrace different perspectives to fuel our creativity and we know that our games are stronger for it!

It is important to us that our teams are passionate about diversity and inclusion. They must understand that these words speak to people’s lived experiences that may differ to their own. We encourage our teams to educate themselves and show support and their commitment to DE&I (diversity, equity, and inclusion). As an example, some of our outreach activities include giving talks, mentoring, speaking at schools, running roundtables and much more.

We therefore welcome applications from all groups who are underrepresented in the games industry. We can offer training to upskill our team, so if you don’t feel you meet 100% of the job criteria, we still strongly encourage you to apply and look forward to hearing from you.
