How did you start at London Studio?
I was looking for a new challenge and told a recruiter a bit about myself and what I love about my work. He told me I had basically just recited the job description of an open role at London Studio. It’s been an ideal fit. I bring my whole self to work, live my values, and apply my game development experience to the creation of some exciting new titles.
What does your role entail?
I head up the New Entertainment team at London Studio. We’re creating content for people who live and breathe film and television, working to raise the bar of narrative in games.
What do you find most exciting about your work here?
I love working with this team and pushing innovation and quality from all of our viewpoints.
What has your career path looked like over the years?
I learned how to make games on the Need for Speed franchise and am incredibly grateful to have worked with some amazing people there whom I really credit with setting me up for success in this industry. They are an amazing bunch. I’ve spanned AAA console development, Free-to-Play mobile, and now I’m working in a truly innovative space back on console, and as a first party PlayStation studio, we’re encouraged to push boundaries and lead the way on the platform.
What is it like to work in the heart of central London?
I absolutely love it! As a native New Yorker who lives in a nice British market town with good schools for her kids, working in Soho gives me my city fix. There are amazing food options for lunch, the shopping is dangerously good, and it’s just a beautiful and vibrant part of the city. I LOVE it.
If you could describe London Studio in a few words, what would they be?
Evolving, determined, open-minded.
